algebra is my biggest problem. Can any one assist me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

That is true , there are programs that can help you with homework. I think there are a few types that help you solve algebra problems, but I read that Algebrator is the best amongst them. I used the software when I was a student in College Algebra for helping me with algebra, and it always helped me out since then. Gradually I understood all the topics, and soon I was able to solve the most difficult of the tasks alone . Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was meant for students, so it's simple to use. Basically you just have to type in the keyword nothing more .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the results, because you won't get smarter that way.

I checked out a number of software programs before I zeroed on Algebrator. This was the most suitable for side-side-side similarity, absolute values and 3x3 system of equations. It was simple to key in the problem. Instead of simply giving the answer , it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it reached the answer . By the time, I reached the solution I learnt how to go about it by myself. I used the program for solving my problems in College Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra in algebra . Do you think that you will like to try this out?

I remember having problems with linear equations, absolute values and cramer’s rule. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
